6 voices, 2 toms, 12 hands, 1 tambourine – this is SAN SALVADOR, a band that combines Occitan poetry with hypnotic vocal harmonies propelled by surging percussion.
Trained by Gabriel Durif, their unbridled polyphonies are immersed in traditional Limousin music and culture which is what they grew up with.
The music is full of light and shade. Never a dull moment. That one doesn’t understand the Occitan language does not even matter – their expressiveness overrides everything.
