Rey Vallenato Beto Jamaica

In Colombia the most popular musical rhythm is called VALLENATO. It comes from Caribbean Coast and the principal characteristic of this enthusiastic music is that is leaded by the accordion that have a very important participation in develop  of the songs, accompanied with the percussion drums, congas, timbale, bass, guacharaca and voices.

VALLENATO KING FROM COLOMBIA BETO JAMAICA is one of the most important Vallenato and Cumbia musician, and he was the winner of the Vallenato Festival in 2006 in Colombia, that’s why he has the name title of VALLENATO KING OF COLOMBIA.

The music of this artist it’s a mixed of several kinds of music OF Colombia like cumbia, paseo, porro, and  vallenato. This rhythms are very dynamics and they have a very deep cultural meaning that represent the way of live, think, act and feeling from the Colombian people.

VALLENATO KING BETO JAMAICA has played in more than 50 musical productions, he has made tours in country like hungry, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Paraguay. The most recently album from this artist its called KING OF MY FOLKLORE, by CODISCOS Company, from this album there are two songs that have been on top five in radio stations around Colombia, and this songs have had very good spread in radio stations in countries like USA, Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Spain.

The band is preparing to release on spring 2013 at USA, CANADA, MALASIA and MEXICO of their album REY DE MI FOLKLOR which includes 14 tracks; and next summer 2013 this important Colombian artist will be touring at USA, Canada, Mexico and Malasia.

The line up is formed by accordion: Beto Jamaica, lead vocal: Edgar Fernandez, electric bass and backing vocales: Edgar Arboleda, congas: Vilmer Pinzón, Caja vallenata (percussion): Ariel Villaveces, Percussion: Nestor Chaparro.
