The very first Paradise Bangkok party started in 2009 where DJs Maft Sai and Chris Menist played Thai luk thung and molam, both popular, rural music styles alongside Mulatu, Augustus Pablo, R.Burnam and Fela Kuti.

This led to a live band, and huge international gigs and tours which are sold out.

They have been nominated for awards by Songlines and UK’s DJ Gilles Peterson.
