Its Day 1 of the Rainforest World Music Festival here in Kuching Sarawak. It began with the press conference with some of the performers of festival. They were Sarawak Drums ( Sarawak,Native Chanting(Sarawak , Chet Nuneta( France), Nunukul Yuggera ( Australia) Pine Leaf Boys ( USA), Mohsen Sharifian & The Lian Band ( Iran) and Rafly Wa Saja. The performers gave us a little brief about their bands, some even talked about their album. There were questions thrown at the performers about the conservation of the rainforest and what role do they play in it. To our surprise some even agreed to sign a petition for the preservation of the rainforest.
