The Rainforest World Music Festival 2012’s organizers are proud to announce the amazing opening night ceremony on Thursday, 12th July 2012 at Dewan Lagenda, Sarawak Cultural Village. Attendees will be able to enjoy an evening long program of musical shows, speeches and a delicious buffet dinner.
The opening night’s festivities will begin on 8.00 pm with the kick-off speech by the Chief Executive Officer of the Sarawak Tourism Board. At 8:30 pm the Rainforest World Music Festival 2012 will be officially launched by the guest of honor. After that, the delightful buffet dinner featuring a wide variety of scrumptious dishes will be served. Just past 9 pm, there will be a performance by two of the major bands, Rhythm of Borneo and Raiz De Cafezal that will be performing in the festival proper. Closing time of the opening night ceremony is between 10.30 pm and 11 pm.
